US State of Ohip new death penalty method to circumvent obstructive drug companies.

Most will have at least some sympathy for jurisdictions were some really bad eggs get sentenced to be gone for good.

Recent years, crybaby drug companies from liberal countries such as Denmark have refused to let their drugs be used for lethal injection, although it is the usually accepted humane method of dispatch - think of your last canine friend and "doing the right thing" for him / her.

That said, drugs are not always reliable, because individual responses to drugs are... individual. It can then get messy, with drawn out deaths and bad publicity for prosecutors. That is of course fair enough.

Enter Ohio with a new method, high tech but IMHO far too complex compared to Monsieur Guillotine's humane invention, but that's America.

Just looked up the las Guillotine execution in France.
Was very surprised at how late they gave it up 1977.
I know that the executioners where not aloud to vote....but where paid quite well and the trade for want of a better word was passed down through the family. Farther to son "It's all right boy! Give it a tug"! Ment a different think to this family

Many US states legally permit execution by firing squad, 2 have the 'resources' to undertake them now and another state is looking at this method.

Now they'd have to be using "ASSAULT" rifles for that, I liked the way they dispatch that drug girl in Thailand? Tied to a post and two like bren guns on the diagonal, aimed at the heart, no pain, just the fear of facing up to it, blindfolded would help? Very humane

    Hi @Russian 22

Really?!? Heh, heh, heh. It had to have a serious deadpan intro, leaving it to the video to deliver the joke. That's why I could not put it in the joke thread and give the game away. I saw it first on youtube and it was a bit into it before I got what was going on. The press conference was bloody funny (literally!). The unique Texas method squeezed in at the end came in close second. (-:

Loved that video, checked the calender nope not April 1 yet.
So in a similar vein, my suggestions are
    A) tied across the muzzle of a cannon, just dont put spectator seating out front. Worked a treat in India.
    B) wait till youve got a few to do seat them all down with a bastetball hoop behind them, a length of primacord (cortex)around the neck and see if anyone gets a slam dunk.

In Iran they still stone you for adulatory. But because of the risk now of being sued for tennis elbow, they use a cliff and a dump truck!
Stand sinner at the bottom of cliff.
Fill dump tuck with stones and tip off cliff

    @kotuku

The AA may be used for a reason. They are probably afraid of a firing squad suddenly getting the bright idea of turning their guns on their beloved, glorious leader should he turn up to watch the execution.
