    "Velocity 4,906 feet per second"

Just watching the latest Moon landing documentary film... 8 Days, To The Moon And Back.

This one uses the actual audio transcript from the crew throughout the mission.

Its brilliant. Doesn't matter how many times you see the documentaries about the Apollo missions, some clever bugger comes up with a way that makes it all the more real, right here in my bedroom.

The line "Velocity 4,906 feet per second" gets me every time.

Wow. They're sitting therefore having their breakfast. Faster than a .220 Swift.

    And why I'm always confused.

I believe Earth is moving at 67,000mph by the way... somewhat less than 1 million but hey who's counting...

as long as you remember NOT to wind down the window to throw up you will be ok travelling that fast in space otherwise you might get some blow back and its never nice cleaning spew out of a vehicle.
