    That looks really good.

We make our patties the same way but use 3 teaspoons mustard powder, 3=4 whole chilli's, fresh ginger finely chopped. teaspoon black pepper, white pepper. pepper sauce and tabasco sauce and all good.

Or use venni mince with a packet of Pad Thai sauce with extra chill and ginger

I don't know but rissoles and patties, what's the foodie difference?

For me , for patties, the Heston way all all good. Meat cut to cubes, a bit of salt and maybe pepper(I add chilli, and onion to the cubes). Though mincer, but catch the mince, and lay it all the same way, roll in glad wrap, maybe 1 foot long round log. Put in fridge for a while, cut how ever thick you like, remove plastic, cook, turning every very short while.

I think this is the link -

Potatoes in the mix, I've never tried, however I'm going to give a go !

Venison Potjie and beer bread, cooked over open coals for 8 hours.

Leftovers to be made into pies.
