Wanted: Truck Mechanic Specialising in Euro and American Trucks - Christchurch

    Hey Guys

Mods please delete if not allowed but thought this could be a good opportunity for someone?

My wife’s new company is battling to find a heavy diesel mechanic in Christchurch, they particularly need someone that hat has experience with Euro and American trucks.
If anyone is keen flick me a PM and I will put you in touch.

    Cheers

    Spud

were down in south canterbury and the amount of back and forwards we have to try and get trucks fixed makes you wonder if any REAL machanics still exist.....its mind blowing to see them plug in computer the google stuff on smart phone to sort out a fix.... that doesnt work, cause it wasnt the problem to begin with.
my Irish machanic mate is pretty good at getting his hands dirty and sorting issues out no one else wants to touch, works all the hours God created too.... but if you poach him we will be stuffed as wont be anyone to fix our stuff LOL.

A real mechanic 20years ago would be struggling to keep up with the technology these days

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Many truck mechanics around here that have been in the game for 20 plus years, they seem to keep the linehaul guys who have problems on the go, while looking after the locals. One who passed away approx. 5 years ago was a "legend" for it.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
