Warning: Hunter308 is heading across the southern border

I will be arriving down there next Monday to spend a few weeks driving a dump truck helping with the Kaikoura clean up I only get to go home every second weekend so I will be sitting around twiddling my thumbs every second Sunday if anyone wants to catch up with me for a beer or show me around

Shit I am not sure the South Island will cope, my daughter is going to Christchurch on Thursday to go to a university ball as well. I had to laugh as she asked me whether she needed to take her passport. I said no but told her she was going to look as silly as hell wearing thermals under a ball gown.

Jeez you get around a fair bit Hunter. I guess you have to follow the work where it takes you though.

Just make sure she gets the right room for the ball Rushy. My twin bro go the wrong room and rather than the work do he was expecting he found himself at a gay dressup do. Apparently quite a while before he figured out he didn't know anyone.

It is just winter work while it is too wet to run at huntly, have been hiding at the waingaro quarry the last few weeks driving a dump truck and labouring at the crushing plant when my truck is not required so it will be a nice change as the last trip to the south island over 20 years ago was a drunken haze

Be very surprised if he is working from the north, Nelson airport is closer. Imagine he will be in the workers portacom accomodation in kaikoura. Happy to be corrected ut inland is open 24/7 old sh1 up the coast is closed overnight and checked in the morning for any new slips.

Think there will be an exploratory day trip or two done on the coming Sundays. Since no one has decided they want a cheap 308 I can offer out my rem783 for him if he has trouble getting a safe sorted :thumbs
