    WC 2014 Final

Not normally a football fan, but made the effort to watch the final this morning. Couldn't have asked for a better match really, looked to me like very evenly matched teams and both quite obviously very worthy finalists. I had concerns that it would go to a shootout which makes something of a lottery for a result but thankfully, Germany scored that magnificent goal in extra time for the victory.
@linyera commiserations to you and Argentina, your guys put up a good fight.

What kind of game is this you are talking about? Surely not that stupid kick, cuddle, pull a Hollywood and kiss one another one played with a round ball. Haven't you been told that it is a requirement of citizenship to this great nation that you not speak of that?

Have to admit the goal was bloody impressive skill wise. Had a mate I work with who supports England being a Pom. He picked and put coin on Germany months ago. I would say he will be happy with the result and the winnings.

No mate I had you pegged as a rangey Colin Meads lock type. On another note, have you been scouting for the deadly duo that is coming your way in the morning?
