What are you wanting to do? Hunt or look at Facebook? Lack of cellphone coverage is a great thing about going hunting...

Can get coverage in fox but not sure how far out of the township it extends

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

Used to be like that in Greymouth. I can always remember the add Telecom had about the fishing boat in trouble x distance out off the Grey bar and, with the electrical systems down I think it was, they reached for the cell phone. Was bloody hopeless in Lord Street; actually in Greymouth.

Thanks guys iv found telecoms coverage map and yes it looks shit as i suspected so sat phone it will be.

I dont have a job that i can go away and just switch off here is a list of things that has happened when ive been away hunting.
*Cows had no stock water for two days
*Worker not turn up to milk coz in lock up
*worker crash a car and break her leg on the way to work
    *penicillin in the vat
    *all manor of machinery breakdowns
And much more the farm can run seamless for months but as soon as i go for a hunt it turns to shit.
Most things are easy fix if im in contact but turn in to a complete fuck up if the staff are left to there devices only other option is to stay home. NO FUCKN WAY!!!

While i have you guys on thread we are going up cook river for a couple days. Worth a look or waste of time?

    Cheers

    West coast cell coverage

Weather is shit on the coast for a wee while I would stay home.
I live here and have decided to bug out for a few days.
Depends what you are after and where you are going up the cook.
Good chams in there. Knew of a decent stag in there a wee while ago.

Yeah few Cham and deer in there. Rough going but rewarding country if you can walk all day.
Flat spot where people camp just above confluence of Craig creek, follow the small gut up the hill 100m about 100m before you hit the junction.

None of my spot x pozzies are where everybody else goes mate.
Worked in those mountains for 12 yrs, and hunted them for way longer. You tend to get a feel for the weather. Just trying to save you a wet trip.
I will keep my gob shut in future and let people find out for themselves. Lol
    Today is a brilliant day.

Not at all offended. Can't put smileys on my phone.
People that paint signs are dumb in so many ways. Can't think of a better way to advertise that a spot is good hunting.
If I wanted to put people off a spot I would not paint signs or leave hocks lying everywhere.

Like putting up a 'wet paint' sign. Everyone has to test to see if it is still wet.
