    What bug is this?

Noticed a bigger than normal black bug flying around in the lounge last night......I tend to ignore the swarms of bugs inside at night as all the doors and windows are open.

Just heard a weird noise and tracked it to this nest on my lounge curtains !

The home owner buggered off when the nest was discovered but has been back a couple of times and I have been too slow to get it with the Raid fly spray.

They are jet black all over, they fill the nest with spiders most of which are alive but paralysed when deposited in there

Had one block off a 303 hanging on the wall out on Great Barrier years ago,Only had a pull through at the time, and by the time we got it poked out and cleaned it had corroded about 4 inches or barrel.

Oh yeah, father lent his 243 to a mate, who left it unused behind a door. I wanted something to trade in on a .308 years ago so went round and picked it up. The chamber and a couple inches of barrel were completely blocked off with a nest. Cleared it and the craters were clearly visible. Took it to h&f got offered $300 for it, I asked for $400, two staff looked through it including the manager, and they gave me $350. He could barely chamber a round to test fire as the bullet tip was getting stuck in the corroded chamber.
