What's the reason TradeMe doesn't allow restricted firearms?

I could probably find this out with a bit of Googling, but I'm a bit pressed for time. Just wondering if anyone knows the reason they don't allow B/C/E?

    Cheers

Because they're Trademe, Its PC and they don't want the Mass Shooting Badge, if it happened. They pick the eyes !!! The safest firearms in NZ with the controls on them and the dollars involved!!

    Their website, their rules unfortunately.
Even when certain firearms/parts are in fact A Cat, the TM retards can still be dicks.

There was a recent case where they pulled auctions for friggen 10 round Lee Enfield mags. Said they were MSSA parts.

    Jesus wept.

Probably so they can claim to hold the moral high ground, while still profiting off of 98% of the firearms industry

The most likely reason is the usual 'Corporate Bullshit " excuse of the possibility ,no matter how unlikely , of some sort of exposure to " Liability ".

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

It's been tried before, but usually fades away with low traffic and turnover.
There are a few FB groups that feature it, by not posting too much info as text to be detected by the FB Nazis.

NZ water blasters and NZ socialist party are two.

Or you can just post things for sale on this forum in the buy/sell section?

Mmm. It wouldn't really cost me much to run. In fact it wouldn't really cost anything on top of existing costs. So seems no harm in trying, even though others have tried. And I can set the auction system up fairly easily and make it a free service.

Buy/sell section very useful, but tricky when it comes to auctioning off stuff, which collectors may be more interested in. Hmm.
