    Who is Toby?

    The Logo on top of the forums mentions Toby 1995-2015. Curious to know who that is.

    @TheChosenOne.

    In order to minimise any offence you might take- or any other new forum members unaware of Toby's influence on this forum, be assured that the effort to find and read his posts and participation is worthwhile, and frankly, humbling. I never met the guy, but followed his courage, and his journey with a moist eye more than once.

    Suffice it to say he is fondly remembered, and truly honoured as an amazing guy.

    RIP Toby

    Thank you for asking. He was a most remarkable young man that many of us are all the more rich for having known.

    Too right Rushy. I particularly think about @Toby every Monday night as I cook dinner. The young lad must have had amazing eye sight to be able to excitedly tell me what I cooked on a Monday night, with him being up in the offshore island and me being down here on the mainland. I can't figure out any other way he would know. Could you @TimeRider?

    And im sure everyone would agree, he was certainly someone who inspired conversations within the forum. I don't think there was a day he didn't make a comment, or inspire some banter amongst the members. Even when he was sick. A very brave young man who left us far too soon.

    And it hasn't been the same since the day he left us. I certainly miss talking to him.

    Ha ha ha ha. I remember those times fondly. One of the first things I ever said to him was "what about that Time Rider aye Toby"

    He did comment that it was strange that I should be encouraging him to make contact with my daughter. As I said to him, 'Some will be met with a shotgun at the door. You will be met with open arms.' Think he was looking at me with an uneasy sideways look when I met him, just in case he got a hug.

    Also think about the young fella when improved sakos (Howas) aee mentioned, or 270's, or poo for frees, or ...
