Williams Warn Brewkeg - Anyone running one?

Interested in any experiences with these home breweries, either the 10 litre or 25 litre kits.

    Cheers, Ray.

Have not personally used one, but hear reasonably good reviews. I made up my own all grain set up and happy with how it’s going 16 brews done so far... always looking for more capacity thou so make sure you go for the biggest size.... soon as you start making good beer some how you find mates visit more regular and beer vanishes faster ha ha

Workmate has one. makes a good brew and it is pretty easy to play with the recipe and add your own flavours, Workmate does a nice stout with chocolate added and also a coffee one. He isn't well versed in its use but everything I have tried is way better than the old 'homebrew'. I'd buy one based on what I have seen.

Dont hesitate and dont muck around with ten litres brew kegs as they will be forever empty.
I dont own one but know quite a few people that do and most should buy a fifty brew keg as they are a piggy bunch!

I've decided that, for the time being, I can buy a shit ton of a variety of craft beer for 2.5k... I was pretty tempted, but I'm quite likely to get bored doing it after a few months, or get lazy and not clean the kit properly and end up with a bad brew.

These will get to NZ eventually and will be a lot cheaper than a WW brewkeg

Yes and look much improved. I am waiting to get my mitts on one. Somehow I just like the idea of watching my beer ferment.

I just use the 5gal buckets when I brew. Haven't made anything horrible for a few years, just basic hygeine, no temperature control.
If I wanted to invest I'd get one of these: UBREW4U Pressure Brewing Systems, Serving Kegs & Kegerators

    Yes I almost purchased one.
@ishoot10s it's worth trying a simple plastic fermenter to start until you know you are serious. You can make good brews and not too expensive.

Most important thing to start with IMHO is a brew fridge setup with heat pad and temp control so you don't get stuck brews in winter or nasty fruity brews in summer.

@300CALMAN I actually got given a Cooper Kit for Christmas a couple years ago, couldn’t motivate myself to even try it and gave it away to a young fella... I guess that says it all really.

Coopers kit's by themselves are pretty lame but my second beer used a coopers kit, some grain and added hops. It worked well

Go on give it a go, it's a piece of piss
