But by all means keep voting for NZ First or National, you’ll get nothing but heartbreak.

And yeah I know it says no politics but you’ll excuse me given the times we’re in.

Finally a voice of reason from a NZ political entity.

Everyone needs to read the following from one of own:

    https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....95/index2.html

    The Destruction of a Nation

Foreign national, Brenton Tarrant, is sitting in his cell, eating 3 square meals a day at our expense, and laughing up his sleeve as his unwitting cohorts continue to ensure his manifesto is fulfilled.

The heinous and callous act committed by this terrorist has rightfully horrified the citizens of New Zealand, and the rest of the World. His act of terror was not a ‘spur of the moment’ decision, it was meticulously planned and prepared over a long period of time, and succeeded in avoiding the scrutiny of the various government departments that are charged with the responsibility of detecting terrorist activity, both here and overseas.

Our nation is currently obsessed with horror, self-guilt, and suffering mass hysteria which now targets innocent Kiwis, grossly similar to the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, and the persecution of the Jews in Nazi Germany,

Tarrant’s ‘unwitting cohorts’ in the continuation of this self-destructive and totally misguided ‘witch-hunt’ are our politicians, the news media, and the unthinking public.

Our politicians are falling over themselves to change laws because ‘something must be done’ and making statements that are simply unlawful under our parliamentary system and legislation.

The members of the news media are displaying their ignorance of the current system, repeating ‘parrot fashion’ statements from various parties with an agenda without ever checking the facts, and are particularly guilty of promoting hatred towards individuals and groups who are completely innocent of any complicity with this act of terror.

The unthinking public are swallowing this rhetoric in the false belief that it is true.

Collectively, these three groups have done great harm to the fabric of New Zealand society in the space of four days. Hopefully, this is not irreparable.

Firearms dealers and firearms owners, going about their daily lives and obeying the laws of the land, are not the guilty parties, nor have they contributed to this crime in any way that is illegal. Vilification of a large and innocent sector of our law-abiding citizens is not any solution, it is merely destructive, and will create disharmony without addressing the real issue.

This criminal act must be allowed to proceed through the Courts, unhindered by political and social upheaval. To do otherwise is to play directly into the hands and aims of the evil psychopath that committed this awful crime.

Now is a time to step back and reflect on the actions of the last few days, politicians and news media need to rein-in their inflammatory rhetoric, and the public need to get back to their normal lives. It is a time for cool heads and sensible, well-reasoned solutions. ‘Knee-jerk’ reaction is neither appropriate nor useful, short-term or long-term.
    R93 and keneff like this.
In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

The voice of reason has always been there, but no one is listening.
