I'm told the Meet & Greet was held at a place very close to the range, quite a picturesque venue that is also used for weddings

One of the most useful yet most baffling items a Benchrest Shooter uses and pays attention to is the windflag

The final day of competition at this WBC was a 10 shot HV 200 match, 5 groups and 10 shots in each group.
These aren't the best just some groups from the wailing wall, I'm told that mirage was a bit of an issue during this match
A number of people think Benchrest is easy, your rifle is supported on a front rest and rear bag, but I have to say it isn't easy, you can have a great rifle and have the load tuned, but if you don't read the wind and touch the trigger at the right time then bullets can and are blown out of the group. The bullets Benchrest competitors use are not vld's and the wind blows them around quite easily.
There is nothing more frustrating than the flags saying the wind is blowing right to left so you hold a couple of bullet widths right and down a bit and the bullet lands where you are aiming or even further to the right, into the wind
