.22 sighting in area New Plymouth.

Hi …I am new to New Plymouth and don’t really know many people etc.
I am on the look out for an area where I can sight in my .22 and check if all is wel etc.
I am a new member of nzda taranaki and I know they do have a range somewhere but I am unsure of the access.
    Any info would be great.
    Cheers

Hey @Hotstick Are you a member of the North Taranaki branch or Taranaki Branch?
Either way its as easy as emailing which ever branch you belong to get info on the range days/availability.

If you're part of the North Taranaki branch I'm sure we can sort out a local paddock to sort out some 22. shooting if that's all you're after.

Both NZDA branches have a shoot on at the range this weekend you are welcome to come and check it out.
We have our branch iron sight shoot at 100 and 200M and hopefully you could be able to sight in your .22 before or after the shoot.
    PM me if you like

Thanks for the help…sounds good I will be in touch.
I am a member of north taranaki branch. I have been to one meeting. Most impressed as not an old boys club…and forward thinking.

Because the old guys were smart enough to stand back and let the young fellas have a go at running things. Seen same thing happen at a couple of other clubs. If you want to reinvigorate a Club get the old fellas (and Im one) to stand aside a little. There's heaps for them to do and contribute from the bleachers. And they do...
