    .22lr grouping?

    Whats considered good grouping at 25m with a .22lr?

    Marlin,shooting prone with bi-pod at 25m. is 1cm with 6 shots is it good or should it be better?

    hmmmm. Never really shot groups at 25. The marlins are sopost to be good. If you can get 5 shots into 3/4-1/2 inch consistently at 50 id a thought you'd be pretty happy.

    I have never tried at 50 but, I sight at 25m and shoot at* anything out to 200m.

    That is a good group Toby. Using VC's theory about 50 yards you would be at 2cm which is close enough to the 3/4 inch mark.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    I will try 50 when ground drys up, its been raining here all day and i just shot out my window but my backyard is only so long, been nailing sparrows and mynas afterwards, pics to come later

    haha, kinda shit now, mums outside having a smoke on the phone they stop landing on the lawn. its nice to be able to be on computer,stand up from my seat grab gun and shoot though.

    Me and a mate gave the homebrew a go way back when we first started flatting. We had two main problems,adding extra sugar to get alcohol content up once resulted in 15 odd exploded riggers in the spare room, and we could never let it sit long enough.Got ya pissed but cloudy as hell and a hangover Il never forget.
