The Tikka triggers are very good but a single adjustment screw isnt foolproof as Trout found. Perhaps his spring was a smidge shorter than it should be. I have not had one adjust to unsafe on the three I have done. The aftermarket spring is at least the same length as the factory one but much lighter so results in a light trigger but still safe as far as sear engagement. Likely what Dannyb has. I fitted an aftermarket Tikka spring to my BSA Hunter which now has a nice light trigger with full sear engagement - so a little creep / travel but very safe.
