    Federal 308 shoot ok but the brass was crap for reloading, also their 223 brass is pretty shit too

    Can't agree with that. I have a very accurate .223 varmint rifle that has lived exclusively on one large batch of FC brass. This brass has been reloaded myriad times and has never been annealed. An extremely small proportion have needed to be discarded from neck splits. It gets trimmed only if it really needs it. Here is a 300yd group shot (on a F-Class electronic target) about a month ago with it
