    My stirling 14 p bolt action .22lr eats up remmington gold bullets from the bucket load.1400 rounds a bucket and I'd only get one misfire.

    Successfully hitting stuff with cheap ammo at long range through a rifle that's been worked hard - that's a win.

    I don't recall ever getting a misfire in my stirling 14, but I never ever put that many rounds through it. Its had quite a few bricks along with other various packets but don't recall it not working because of the ammo. Mechanically the sear engagement stuffed me around for a bit until we tigged up the bolt, after that no dramas.
