    AR muzzle flash

Took the AR to the range today and tried a couple of shots without the suppressor - Turns out its a bit more of a flame thrower than I thought.

    Cool photos.

Barrel length? And what's the ammo?

Only time I have noticed that much flash was with short tubes and norinco fmj

Cheers, it is a 16inch barrel with Hornady brass cased training ammo. I like the fire doughnut in the second photo.

I used the 240fps slow mo on my iPhone 6 to record some cool muzzle flash and case ejecting vids of the shotgun and AR.
Can see the shotgun slugs traveling down range clearly when you advance the frames.

Sweet range. Is this the one @Beaker has spent a lot of time on, or another?

Basically nothing towards the shooter, the HiPer is an extremely effective flash hider and accepts our BoreLock mounting suppressors.

Yea just a bare muzzle. Seems like that flash hider works pretty well, especially considering its at night time
