    Ashburton f class Sweep

Ashburton shooting range are having the Ashburton "sweep" this sunday 22nd sept.
10x shoots to score(plus 2 sighters) at 300yards 600yards and 700yards. Most tof the entry money goes back into prize money for the day.
Section22 and the canterbury lead slingers have a crew going along with their practical rifles.
its a good event if any one wants to come along to test the waters of "F Class" or test and verify your dope.

Only had 3 practical shooters turn up in the end. few couldn't make on the day. Was a great day I shot poorly, other guys shot well. The ashburton club and a couple other are actively trying to get More hunters and field/precision shooters on to the range by creating a new division in f-class to suit precision/practical rifles.

I went and watched the shoot last Sunday, then sighted in a hunting rifle at the end.
Friendly bunch of guys. Some bloody good shooting on display.
A guy in a wheelchair shot a couple of nice groups at 600yrds
Was a good way to spend an afternoon
