Hi all.
Any advice on the best ballistics calculator app for a smart phone?
I want to be able to enter caliber, velocity, BC, zero range etc and get a table for dial up in MOA.
A free one would be best if there is a good one out there.
Cheers.

Strelok?
The best free one is strelok but part with 10 bucks and get shooter or bullet flight.

Out of interest what does Shooter do that Strelok doesn't?
The Nikon Spot-on one is pretty good too.
Its just easier to use ben. Its far clearer to read and more straight foward . In saying that if your to dutch to buy the app strelok is accurate as far as ive used it out to 500

Sweetas :) I haven't tried it but been happy enough with Strelok so I'll save my $10 for now
(Quarter Dutch, quarter Scottish)
Argh! I have a copy of shooter if you want? If you don't mind a bit of piracy. Works perfectly. PM me with email if you want to try it out. Donate to them later if you like it.
Ballistic FTE uses the JBM ballistic libraries, which has proven to be more accurate for me when engaging beyond 800m. BulletFlight is really simple and easy to use and for the reason I often suggest it for folks who want a basic app, but I found it was having trouble as I started shooting extended distances. All of these inexpensive apps are great, but they still lack the BC fine tuning you'll find in the more high-end apps and as far as I know none use the more accurate Point Mass solver algorithm.
Thanks very much guys.
Very helpful.
nosler got 1 as well
also swarovski they are free from memory
Yup, works fine for me, 223 on rabbits out to a decent range. Has zillions of reticles available, and it's free.
It just depends how much pissing around you want to do out in the field ranging and getting decent ballistics results when whipping out your phone all the time - dust, wet, dirt, etc.
which is the best for apple? specifically Ipad users?
Strelok works for them too its just called istrelok

Litz sells his own app for NZD 35 https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...FsbGlzdGljcyJd and Shooter (NZD 12) uses it too. Not wanting to be paranoid at all but be aware privacy is non existent in the android world.
Acquired Shooter from an alternate source the other day and have had a bit of a play around. Can't comment on it's accuracy yet, but it's quite easy to use, even in advanced mode.
Shooter and the buck drops there!!!
I use and am a fan of shooter as well. But I did like exbal which allowed you too customise your click values. One of my scopes while it tracks well has .31" instead of the stated .25" per click value. Using shooter I have to remove that extra .005 per click from my soloution which is a pain when using that scope.
A magic thing called elevation correction factor in rifle setup ya dork!!!!!
If ya rifles out just change that until your drops match... i do it with the march 1.05 i set her up at an bammo!!!!
Ull prob need to go to 1.15 or something! Sounds like you have mil clicks on moa hashs m8!!!
0.95 i mean on march as by the time im supposed to dial 4.6mil its actually 0.2 mil high on the scope and by the time its 6mil its 0.3mil high!!!
Strelok lets you set clicks to whatever value you like as well. :)
(and lets you do it in MOA, MRAD, in@100yds or cm@100m, whichever floats your boat)
