Hey people.Anybody used this, specifically in a Tika 1-8 twist, just want to know if it would be worth going through the whole police thing to find out

They do work and work quite well but i prefer the 69 grain
Thanks but I can't find any loaded 69gr to try
Have some to hand load though
I think @199p uses it in his AR and I know it shoots really well, I know it’s not what you have asked but as an indication that it could be worth the time and money. Hopefully he will confirm what ammo he is using.
Thanks will give it a try, just checking first to see if there were any bad reviews for that 1-8 twist.
Its a way of trying that particular projectile and I guess if it doesn't shoot that well I can pull thirty odd of them and try them with a couple of other powders
Cheers.
Well it arrived yesterday and I tried it in the wind today, was better than I expected actually and shot quite well better than the red box Hornady 55 gr
I'm not quite sure about my croney results though
I have an older Chrony model and it's telling me I'm getting just over 3k Fps for the 77gr loaded Belmont, seems High, what do you think?
i have used aprox 350 so far from a 1 in 8 18" barrel- I would buy more
over 3k speed sounds high to me from working up my own 77gn handloads, but I havent put the belmont stuff over a crony
Cheers res, my chrony has been about for a number of years i've just bought a v3 thingy waiting for it to arrive so will see
what do you pay for those.
I'd be real interested to see verified chrony data. I saw somebody on their FB say they got 2740fps from a 16" AR which is smoking hot. I might have to get some to try.
Mk262 Black Hills 77gr TMK is an average of 2750fps from a 20" barrel (5.56mm | Black Hills Ammunition). Quite a few videos on Youtube on people trying to clone their handloads similar to that - Johnny's reloading bench is a good source if interested, he does it through an 18" barrel with numerous different powders.
Could you please pull one and take a photo of the powder and what it weighs please
3k seems faaaaaast.
I had some 75 eldm doing 3100 and they were VERY warm! Flat primers and popped pockets on some....
you used them on animals yet @jakewire?
i'll eventually run out of 55 gr barnaul and belmont work well for my 308.
