Does ak47 match good with red dot? I.m thinking of either Aim point or ecotech. Which is better? And for mounting. Is it better mount closer to the barrel? Thanks

With an AK you don't need to have a riser like the AR which does. The eotech is designed with a riser built in so you have to hold you check high on the AK stock and is bloody uncomfortable. The aimpoint you can place straight on without the riser and in my opinion is a better sight anyway. I have shot an AK with both setups and the Aimpoint is the way to go. Get yourself an Aimpoint H1 or T1 and you can't go wrong. Alternatively, get a Bushnell TRS25. Just put one on my new AR and think it is bloody brilliant for the money.
