Is it any wonder why this young lady has formed her opinion of us with the sort of behaviour we are exhibiting here?
What else would you expect from an aussie. I mean that in a positive manner BTW.
The thing about living in NZ is that the sheep jokes are about aussie's (not the wrong way around).
I always copped that (and my 12 year old son) over there but that was from the blokes-we give her too much stick look out lol.
To be totally blunt if you cannot handle a few " old goats " muttering under their breath and "glaring " at you . You will not last 5 minutes in your new job because you are going to encounter far worse and more in your face with lots of unhelpful suggestions :)
Yeah I am fully aware I'll be copping it big time at my job trust me, but that's work. But shooting is my hobby, you know? It's meant to be fun and make me happy and shit, I don't want to deal with these old cunts making it a shitty experience every time I shoot. I did just put up with it at first but it's been months now of these assholes chipping away to the point that I am now on the internet basically begging for a scrap of grass to shoot on in instead.
Go back to the Kaitoke range and keep shooting.
Ignore the old pricks and don't give in to what they want.
Systolic making sense?
Better yet, just fire off some rapid strings and have a laugh.
I often practise service rifle up there, if it is going to be rapid fire I tend to just tell the other range users to expect it. There have been the odd comment about "zombie apocalypse" etc, but just as many times they've come over to ask questions about the gear or style of shooting.
Put a brake on your SKS just because you can :D
@TheWuce a lot easier to do that here than back home accross the ditch yeah?
Good to see that those evil semis so reviled in aussie haven't corrupted us kiwis.
Oh and silencers haven't turned us into assassins either
