Dannevirke NZDA Field Shoot
Dannevirke NZDA branch (through Neckshot) hosted a center fire field shoot today. We had awesome weather after a couple of rain showers early in the morning.
Malcolm and I set a relatively easy course with a few challenging positions as well. Was a good day though. Was great to meet a few new people and have some fun shooting.

And a video from the same stage. Scott shows some great supported kneeling shooting technique here.

Competitor starts standing with 4 shots in in their mag (if they could, bolt had to be open). At the begining of the time limit the competitor had to fire their first shot at a 14" target. If hit they would fire the second shot at a 10" target, if hit they would fire the third shot at a 6" target, if hit they would fire their last shot at the 6" target again. A miss would require the competitor to fire the next shot at the larger sized target.
