I just couldn't find answer anywhere include YouTube.
When back we were able to do 3 gun shooting, i.m not talking about pistol, Can you carry an rifle and shotgun at same time? Both have two point sling. Is any way they can both functional without strangle each other? Any answer with carry instruction be really appreciated, thanks
Weren't allowed slings at all in the comps I did

Don't know what you're trying to do, but a safari sling could be part of the solution.
One gun in the front and one at the back
Both slung over neck/shoulder
If using a shorter range rifle it’s normally slung on my front when crossing rivers/climbing etc and especially when it’s raining to keep it (slightly) drier
Or carry one on each shoulder with slings crossed over your neck. Carry with muzzles forward and down steadied by each hand on barrel just up a little from muzzle. Allows you to carry pack on back too. Not possible to achieve a snap shot though.( rifles are inverted so underneath of rifle is facing up and forward and butts behind at about level of lower shoulder blade.
I have carried my 10/22 and my 22 mag around the farm.
I had one over my shoulder and the other between my shoulder blades.
I could not use the one between my shoulder blades but I swapped over when I wanted to go to the supressed 10/22 with subs when I got closer to the built up area of the farm.
You would need to have a sling that would go over your head and let your gun sit between your shoulder blades.. If you get what I mean.
Good question, I have done it wrong in the past. Carry one up and one down and one needs to be in a gun bag to stop them clanging together, put your knife belt round your guts and at least one of the rifles

Nah I havent , Dont see the point of having a mag and using subs in it.
I have my 10/22 which I run subs and I use the mag for longer shots and down the back of the farm. Its got a DPT supressor on it but its still quite loud.
Carry a pack with a scabbard? Or stick it down between your back and the pack (don't do this with a chainsaw that's just been running, the muffler melts holes in your pack or burns your neck)

You could just have an ordinary sling across the back but I think biathlon would be more secure and interfere less.
2 point sling across the chest is a great way of carrying a fire arm for hunting and pretty much any other use, so long at the sling points are on the slide of the rifle (atleast for the butt end).

I have used a Browning All Season Web Sling with some success. It can be used as a conventional 2 point sling or biathlon style, like a backpack with the rifle vertical between your shoulders. Second rifle then over the shoulder, carry muzzle up or muzzle down.
Backpack style carry is more comfortable with pushbutton QD swivels on the side of the stock and definitely more practical when you're not also carrying a backpack.

Never thought of that.
I could load up one magazine with subs and the other with supers. Problem with the 10/22 is though , it loads the next round after a shot fired. So it would be a bit fiddly unloading the round that has self loaded and racking the action again to load ..
Food for thought though.

the only solution I can think of is put the one you arnt using immediatly into a soft gun bag slung over your back
the gunbags that hold two rifles are the best
but at least one in what ever gun bag you have at the moment would be the trick and would stop the worst of the damage (usually always scratches to scope bodies)
I get around with a 22 Hornet and a pump Shotgun culling farm turkeys. The one I'm intending to use next i carry port-arms, the other is slung on my shoulder. If I need to sling both, one goes across my back with sling across my chest, the other hangs vertical from my left shoulder and is steadied with left hand while right hand is free to carry a bag of turkey meat or a hare etc. If I need to change guns quickly the one at port-arms is simply placed on the ground.
Thats what I have been doing with my 22mag . one mag with subs and a second with high velocity . lupy scope with drop graduations and the second line below the cross hair (on that scope.. ) equates to zero at the range I generally use subs at , but it doesn't load the next round and have to re-cock after every sub shot .Quote:

this is the one I was thinking of , maybe not quite what you are after but look like a good sling for holding rifle locked into place near middle of back and maybe room for second rifle on shoulder without the two knocking together ?
