Hi Guys,
I've just got a whole lot of new ammunition loaded and need to sight the rifle in for at least 100m.
Does anyone know of any rifle ranges around Dunedin or Central Otago (preferably close to Cromwell) that are open on week days so I can sight the rifle in? I'm away this weekend, unfortunately, and planning on hunting the weekend after. I don't really want to carry all the sighting gear into the hunting block to sight it in there.

There is one about ten minutes out of Alex, not sure if it is rifle is the only thing. I know handgun and shotgun.

Crawford hills rd has the pistol club with the clay target shooting club on the adjacent bit of land. They are both organised clubs, im not sure that you can just rock on up with a rifle to sight in tho.Quote:

No one's got her trespassed? It's not just for poachers....
She's friends with the landowners wife. As a firearm user its easier and sometimes more sensible to avoid people like this cos they always yell and stamp their foot harder to be heard and self asserted over others.
