    A gong in a gong

Fresh from the lair of Honest Ross's Pheasant Safaris is this wee beauty: A gong in a gong

Hopefully the weather gods will smile on Sunday and I can take this out and christian it. Will be extra useful being able to see fall of shot if, no... when I miss the inner gong.

I'll sort out any teething problems Ross, so its working fine for your next visit

That looks the business, what distance you shooting at and with what?

Jeez that would be a good addition to my range. What are the dimensions of the outer and the inner?

    Patent pending
@Ross Nolan will know better, but I think its 150 dia inner and 250 x 250 outer.

Will throw anything I have at it, and will just hang it from trees in the forest at various ranges. Would like to get myself out beyond my standard 3 hundy.

You’d likely be fighting Thomas Haugland of THLR.NO YouTube fame for that patent.

    It's 350 x 350, with a 150 diameter hole.
12mm AR500, so pretty much proof against anything shoulder fired past 100m, but I think it will shine at 400-500m.

In the right circumstances and with a good spotter you would still be rocking the inner at six hundy.

Thats 1 moa at 600yards. Brings to mind Eric Cortina's cold bore one shot challenge. It should be a heck of a lot of fun if a decent long gully can be found

Where @XR500 will be hanging it is along and then across a gully, with the shot line covered in part and not in others. In other words, a cast iron bitch, and I suspect it will be very humbling for the 500 m shots.
Otherworld as it is doesn't always match the supplied plans, that's for sure.

How would they last out in the weather?
Because that's about all that would damage it at six hundy at my place.
