Rushy,
I think the threads above are giving you some great advice. I put a monster magnification scope on my .204 varmint rifle and it took me ages to get comfortable with it. In the end I actually went out into the field with my spanners and bipod and shot it lots as I moved the scope up and down the rings. One thing I did lots was to close my eyes and get into position then open them to see where I was in the scope. Rather than playing with my cheek piece I then started to play with ring heights, bases and mechanisms. It helps to have a great relationship with your favourite gunshop as it took me 3 goes to get it 90% perfect.
What does a pack of 300 wmag cost?
haha, its not the cost savings, its the better accuracy and better choice of projectiles. :)
That too but the last few times I saw the price of factory in my cal nearly made me shit.
Mark my words.
If you shoot that thing lots at range you will end up reloading.
How long is a piece of string?
My set up is very basic, takes ages,is cheap as chips(those really expensive huge bags of chips that are only 1/4 full:D)
Cost isnt really the thing tho it is cheaper (more so in your cal i would have thought) hitting what your aiming at is the thing.
Ie a 10 inch average group at a 1000y will make it hard to hit a 10-12" plate even in good conditions, but a 5'' group makes it that much easier
Shree bucks a round?. maybe a bit less ? this is what rushy wants to know.
