It was on the National Radio news
They clearly pointed out the irony that it was a clay target club and only used sporting shotguns

I think it is better not mentioned or it will spark up all over the country and we will all be at risk from the mob. Media busy pumping up the idea guns are a white male thing.

I have the daughter of an Indonesian friend who could prove otherwise. She is although top pistol ipsc shooter.

Exactly. They are very selective with "minority. As in when it comes to gun ownership the suddenly only care about the majority.

For a few years until he moved to auckland my main shooting mate apart from my wife (who is white with also cherokee heritage) was my workmate who is a chinese born nz citizen.

Good link, and some calm advice to people who feel tempted to react to muslim violence:

Farhad Khosrokhavar, head of research at the Paris-based School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences said IS had tried to radicalise the situation “by turning Western Muslims against the societies in which they live”.

“The violent ultra-right, by following suit with such blind violence, has created this climate of generalised violence in which Muslims are expected to act violently against Western societies that in turn respond in the same way, breeding a vicious circle liable to spark all-out war between Muslims and non-Muslims,” he told AFP.

“Spawning an all-out vendetta is playing into the hands of IS.” Within hours of the Christchurch killings, jihadist sympathisers throughout the world popped up on social networks calling for vengeance.

I heard on the news this morning their previous clubrooms were burnt down a couple of years ago
Also there is a new suburb nearby. Thought of the Waiuku Pistol Club and how it used to be quite isolated

They should come to the clubs I am a member at. They are both a veritable League of Nations.
