Thread: Level and cosine indicator

Hi Guys I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this topic. I am looking for your input and suggestions for a level and cosine indicator. In other words what do you use? I have read that idealy the level should be able to be seen from the shooting position. Thanks for any help you can offer cheers Ackley

The little B-Square levels look good. Small light and attach to a rail.

Angle indicators are expensive but would be nice to have.

For the $$$ outlay of a angle indicator ur better to spend that $$ on a better rangefinder that measures angle in the first place

If you get a ballistic program for your smart phone like shooter they will give you the angle of the shot using the accelerometer in your phone. I have one of the levels that folds up above the scope when in use.

What he said. All the new LRF s seem to have inclinometers in them as do a lot of smart phones,I find the ones in the phones a little harder to use though.

I use the shooter app as well and have found the angle indicator varies to my LRF bino's by up to 5 degrees (neither here nor there) but have used the bino readings and have had no dramas so far

I have a cosine indicator but now my rangefinder gives me that info so rarely look at it

I bought a level (ACD) off ebay, was $25 iirc, and it attaches to the scope, like a scope ring.

I use iSnipe on my Iphone, has a hold button to hit when you point it at the target giving you angle to target. add it into compute numbers by itself. Also uses the compass to configure Coriolis effect.
