Been there, seen that. Much like yourself, I heard about how great they were by someone who used them. Then I asked around and nobody else was using them. Why could that be??? Eight years, and many thousands of lead projectiles later (Cowboy Action Shooting) I cant say I've ever needed one.

Logically thinking, wouldn't it be better to tackle the cause of the problem, ie soft lead projectiles pushed too fast through the barrel? Just a thought.
Anyway, Brownells will be pleased with you, after all, someone has to buy them!

Nah you did the right thing stumpy - if it's shit then we'll all know

If I buy something that turns out to be a lemon then I'll happily fess up to it so that no other poor sod chucks their good money after my bad, as it were.

On a positive note regarding silly sounding accessories I got an UpLula for the pistol and it is bloody good- so much so that I got a PMagLula for the rifle. Works really well.
