Big thanks to Eben for organising the day and to those who generously provided the opportunity to shoot a couple of calibers/rifles for the first time

Great to see the big bore shoot happening now in the Northern Isle as well,it looked like a really good day was had by you chaps, long may this last in both Islands.
It was a great day, many thanks to Eben and the Taranaki team for putting it all together.
Good to meet up with a bunch of guys from the forum, nice to put a face to a name.
I think the 378 will be retired for a while, feeling pretty sore today:oh noes:
As much fun as you can have with your pants on! Absolutely brilliant day, and the weather was ok as well. There actually is a mountain over there!
Thanks EBF and the TLRS guys, a great setting. I met some great people. No one was more suprised than me, Im sure the hat assisted my score. Looking forward to the next one, and this time ill have the double rifle going.
Having had a 12 gauge side by side simultaneously discharge both barrels on me, I have "experience" with robust recoil but will admit a bit of apprehension especially after a couple of people nearly dropped it . A good fit to your shoulder and tightly held are the key I reckon.
Tuckerbox this is how I load the 400 gr Speer "long" to feed in the CZ 550 .With 75 gr AR2206H they group 1" at 100 yds.
