Thread: NZDA Rotorua

Can any one still me who the contact person for the Rotorua branch of the NZDA, have moved to Tauranga and was hoping to transfer there but they what a joining fee. I have never had to pay a joining at other branches of the NZDA so told them to f... of

Tauranga has some pretty solid facilities so the joining fee will probably be well worth the extra. Their club hunts are very well done as well. Id bet you will spend more on gas going to Rotorua and back if you planned to be an active member.
There are a couple of TGA members on here.

yeah I know, one of them advertise on here. Not all the committee are happy with the fee as one of them is my neighbour

Short of being an NZDA endowment member i expect any DA branch including Rotorua are going to charge you a membership fee. Given how close we are to the end of the membership year i wouldn't expect a full membership fee - maybe 20-25%? If you are already a member of another branch then join Tauranga as an associate member until March then join in full?

As well as a NZDA sub I think Tga has an initial joining fee?

Sorry didn't realise that. I have never seen a joining fee at a DA branch either.

I found the same thing up here $50 joining fee $125 membership fee and $50 range card. I thought $225 stuff that!
