Palmerston north public range?

Can anyone tell me if there is a public range in Palmerston North for sighting in rifles thanks

Manawatu Rifle Rod and gun club down Turitea road. You will need to be a member or know someone to get on.

Theres also the Chelty gun club, 3 hundred meters-ish past the pub,(turn L @ pub) on the right. 30 mins or so from Palmy. Ring Turners Sports in Flding and ask them what the procedure is. Pretty sure its just courtesy and common-sense out there, though there might be a specific day for sight-ins...

Manawatu NZDA shoot at Cheltenham on the last Sunday of the month from 10am. The Cheltenham rifle club shoot every Saturday afternoon from 1pm. Not sure if you can just turn up and shoot anytime during the week. Hope that helps.
