We have had so much rain it's impossible to get heavy machinery out the back of the farm.
I heard today that a hawkes bay orchardist ( who wants to remain anonymous ) Has sunk his bulldozer in a swamp, not even the exhaust stack is showing.
Imagine the cost to get it out, strip it and get it going again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost traction on a feed pad on black ice on a rops class tractor and dumped it into the sump at the end of the feed pad!!,I rode it straight of the edge into to sump which was 2.5m deep I had to drop the scraper straight down to stop it rolling over on me the effluent came up to the steering wheel I jumped up to the control box and drained the sump while motor was running.20tn digger to lift it out and just damged the fuel tank.i could have been killed if it rolled and trapped me under neath.ill have to track down some pics.
The old unoccupied "Warehouse" in Hastings would have to be 100yds long internally.
Been abandoned for ages.
Maybe if we offered them $100, they'd take it? :pacman:
