I'm 2" high at a hundy with my 308.

Why because thats just how I set it up to use dead on hold out to 300m.

I have shot one Sika at 170m with this set up in the last three years.

All the rest of the Deer and Pigs that found their way into my freezer were way less than 100m with one fat piggy being so close she was almost showing signs of powder burn from the shot.
Was a bloody hard search for it too..... Took my mate five or six steps to locate it and he was standing behind me.

In over 30 years of Hunting Deer I've only ever shot one deer which was slightly over 300m, but then thats not really surprising as I'm mostly a bush Hunter and the Old Man always enchouraged me to get closer.


I would say my average range for taking Deer and Pigs is around 60-70m.
