Is this with a top end load capable rifle? I'm already a bit shy to load my marlin SBL45-70 past 46gns of anything peppy so i'd only waste any extra case capacity i feel.

Silly question, but does anyone here also just make a side batch of sinkers for fishing from time to time when casting?
just wondering if a std BHN 13 hardness mix of lead is ok for the sinkers or...
They're a lot longer than the 143's so their ass is back in the powder. Not so great

I finally managed to lob some 352 gn ribless pc (41.5gn 2207). Got 3 groups in when the wind was flat. Gotta just play the wind game when it's about and aim off. 45-70 will never be a target round...

What temp you run your mix at? I'm finding 450deg c to be about perfect for filling out the mould. Especially if I only do a 3 second hold then drop them out
