    Shooting Fails

    Had another fail today.
Hot piece of 9mm brass got stuck between glasses and eyebrow - yip, it tickled real good.
Last hot one was 223 brass between toes straight from the action of AR (yeah yeah - shouldnt have been wearing my jandels)

I occasionally used to shoot a Marlin semiauto 17M2 belonging to FnH user Gordy (don't think he's on this forum yet).

It was a perfect demonstration of the poor quality of early semiauto M2s, had a few cases rupture and spit gunpowder at my face

    Firing my home made suppressor

Filling a 223 round to the rim with 2207

load devolopment....... need I say more

shooting at a rabbit sitting next to a flat rock with 9 ball buck shot

having to take another bolt to the gunsmith with yet another flat ejector spring

nearly got to see the rifling on an old 22-243 without looking down the barrel

Firing a 300wm with a big brake for the first time with no ear muffs and shooting from inside the garage because of rain

Firing 4 inch nails from my 22 using ramset blanks

firing arrows at carp (fish) from a cut down 410 shotgun....

    I could go on

Combination of all my ammo boxes falling apart at duckshooting creating the inevitable "Sunday lucky dip", the recoil pad falling off the shotgun and the need to be the guy that finds the largest most unnecessary magnum shells on opening produced tears.
You are not the only one to F@$* up with a 10/22. I sighted mine in once off the bullbar on my ute and dented a big patch of fins on my radiator with the ejected rounds

Lamping bunny's (legaly of course ) driving and holding the lamp while mate was out the moon roof and a rain of hot 22lr shells came inside and straight down my front burning my nipple Im a welder and used to serious burns without flinching but have to admit to letting out a girly squeal.

After a LR gong shoot shooting some sausages, first shot neck/miss, second shot neck/ miss, 3rd shot crease/ hit in arse.
Whoops had lost my windage zero

Once upon a time, a mate was chasing a lil wee rabbit around the hill at around 800-900 yards (can't remember the exact distance sorry). Eventually gave up, and spotted some skippys around the 100 yard mark. Needless to say, fired a couple rounds that way to no avail.. Was thinking wtf, til he realised that the scope was off by one whole revolution.. Wont say who this is, but he'll be reading

    4" nails sounds good fun

Sons of Guns on Sky Discovery recently showed them doing the same with a 410

My mate has the best hole in his truck from shooting across the bonnet.
Through bonnet, battery and out the other side
