    Shooting IPSC with juniors.

I am on a little bit of a recruitment drive you could say.. My son has started shooting but there is a lack of juniors doing IPSC (that I know of).

So I thought I would post in a few places and let people know, if they were not aware, of this nice little shooting sport that like others is family friendly but perhaps not so widely known about. I think it is one that would appeal to juniors but at the same time, not really something mum and dad can drop the kids off while they do the shopping.

So if you have have kids and want to do some shooting as a sport, here is an alternative. My guy, Kyle, in the video is 11 shooting a cz in 9mm. Age may not be the barrier that you would think.

If you have mates you want to get in to shooting but they are tied to the house because of the family, show them this and maybe they get the idea they can do it with their kids, or even use the kids as an excuse as long as they get involved and we can develop more juniors.

Good on ya mate, my 14 year old girl uses a Kimber 38 super and can out shoot the fuck out of me at close range speed. So she does not come to where I shoot. she goes with her step father instead. Distance how ever she aint got nothing on me, we compete

Nice, in NZ? She wasn't the young girl I saw was at the south islands? I wasn't thee but saw some pictures. She would be one of the very few I have seen, none shooting around auckland that I know of.

Na mate She central north island, she wont compete but goes to range regularly, you put her in a non competition practice scenario and trust me you've been schooled.
Duck Shooting and Archery is her passion, goats on the run don't stand a chance if a bow in her hand.

The more people who can get their children introduced to a constructive disciplined sport the better it will be for all of society in general, and IPSC is a disciplined sport

I see he has the same problem I have with those shoulder high ports you tall people like to build , I bet he has you all schooled on the low ones though.
