    SparrowHawk Course

Just finished SparrowHawks' Practical rifle course for my work and found my ability seriously lacking compared to what I thought it was! Some of what they were teaching was lost on me but overall a good course if you want to improve your bushhunting or snapshooting skills or get into long range sniping. Has anybody done this course and know of any clubs down south who run these kinds of activities? I'd definitely recommend it and would love to do it again, I could still learn much more

Welcome to the forum. Where did you do the course?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

From what I understand they have some relationship with the Gunsite outfit in Arizona, and host competitions and offer training for legit "operators", if what I have been told is true.

    $1000 for three days...
if you want another option for less, go along to your local nra range and pay $5.00 a day.
at mine I find plenty of old guys that have been doing it for years, even a couple that have been to the Olympics. they have a lot of experience, and are always willing to help and share there knowledge.
(im not a member and I don't compete. I just pay the day rate to confirm my drop chart, learn from others and practice)

I'd be interested in doing a course like this but it seems like they may be having a bit of a laugh from the site. Can't find any courses on their calendar. Plus the price. Cost at least a couple grand all up with travel, ammo costs, etc.

How many were in your group or class?
