A swift hour at the range

My mate messaged and "Can we get onto the range, got couple new toys?"

So range organised with the landlord and a nice gentle zeroing with his Remmy .270 was achieved. Interestingly he had one of them Sig Sauer Scopes which was quite nice. Also an absolutely worn down 44 Marlin U/L which was a fun gun to have a poke with.

Then I decided to have a play with my 6.5x55 that has been in the back of the cabinet for ages. Federal 140gners. moly, soft points and a quick 5 mins with Strelok and I was hitting a 10 inch gong at 600yds. I think I;m going to have to do more of this longer range stuff
