Thread: Texas Plinker Style match report

Todays range report. Wind was 22-28 Km/h blowing downrange from our right shoulder. We started as usual with the 1.0MOA Dot challenge at 100M. Quite a hard day in the office there, the top scope was a 30 (3 of 5 hits in the black) by Ben with the 6mm ARC.

Straight back to our 600Y mound, with gongs of 300mm, 150mm and 75mm at 571M.

Only two shooters (of 8) got first round hits on the 300 - that's the wind for ya. In the ten shots allowed for all three gongs, hit to move Greg (6mm CM) got the 75mm with his 6th shot, and I (223) got it on my 9th. So that was how the places ended up too, with Nigel (280AI)and Ben (6mm ARC) 3rd equal.

After that we had a bit of plinking, a very new shooter who just turned up to sight in shot all three gongs with Greg's rifle in 3 rounds (so a "possible") and Ben resumed the shooting of his previously "loaned" 7mmRM and also shot a possible.
