Saw the add for that
Same old story.
Neighbour buys land next to a gun club that's been there for 47 years then complains about the noise.
Cheers
Pete
Didn't like the way they seemed to over dramatise the 'gun' part...

That Rick guy was interesting. Old TVNZ music show host Richard (Dick) driver.
Don't suppose @jakewire saw it?
No I didn't see it but Dick was a Radio with Pictures host at one time.
If it's the same bloke.
yeah , Andrew Fagen.
Always wondered if karen felt a bit like Cleopatra.
don't get it
they buggered off to London or something, didn't she end up writing books or at least a book?
Yeah. He had a sailing record for smallest vessel round south island. Now both work on talkback radio.
Will have to adjourn to the music thread.
Yeah I watched it agree with P38 just the same shit different day :pissed off:
Any inside news on how the new shooting range up at Makarau is getting on ?
Didn't see it.... is it the Wailuku pistol club? I know they were having issues with aucklanders who had bought up round them and started complaining about the noise....
Oh and Dick driver fronted a band called the narcs before radio with pictures..... showing my age....
Good on the pistol club for not giving up , could be a cheap dorkland house for sale , If you didn't like guns why would you build a house 80 meters away from a gun club , I was reading last week about a guy that owns 5 hectares up that way & neighbours are complaining about him playing air soft , This is where the rot starts & before you no it more freedoms have been taken away. really makes you think about making a small donation to some organisation that sticks up for our interests .
It is coming along well, inductions are about to start with the first 50 people, another 250 to get through after that. I just spent mon/tues at the high court over these issues and imo it is looking good for us. Ready for Paula Bennett to cut the ribbon next month.
