had to get a thread that would get attention!
worked out my drop, 3 inch 200m and 9inch at 300, got a ar bushnell scope on at the moment but the cocky showed up to move stock before i could work out which way to adjust scope. i presume UP on the scope would be for closer range and further out you want to move the recitle down to allow for drop? and yes i know there is a 100% partical way to find out but would involve a 2hr drive!

down moves POI down and up moves POI up.
Up on the elevation dial refers to up the numerical scale ie 1-2-3-4-5-6 which Will take your projectile impact point further and further out from your zero range.
The word "up" on your elevation dial refers to a common understanding that you are dialling up for progressively longer ranges.
It does not designate the direction of crosshair movement, although we know when you dial up - the crosshair drops closer to the barrel centreline.
Remember that with the scope you are MOVING the bullet not CHASING the bullet;)
ok, so backwards to what i thought lol, got scope set on 2 for 150m. will hope i get it right this weekend!

using JBM and a .224 52grain amax (it doesnt have 223 amax?) looks about 2950fps somewhere
