    Smile yeeehaaaaaa

well today was wet an breezy out in the hills but our nzda gong shoot was still to go ahead . our aim was 5 targets 3 ,4,5,6&700 metres ,, this was my 1st gong/long range shoot
my 25-06 was zeroed at 100m so to start i wound up the dial useing my vortex viper pst 4-24x50 from the data on my ph app from nosler ballistics was using my 110gr accubonds no idea how fast they are going but guessed 3000fps
we were all only to have 3 shots at each target
bang whack x3 at 300m sweet i was happy then things wernt so swell at 400m 1/3 also 1/3 at 500m my spotter couldnt see where i was going it was faily misty at that range 600 m also 1/3 then came the yeeehaaaa moment
dialed it up for the 700m target plus a minute just for luck bang i hear the scorer say hit then my spotter say hit then the ping from the gong well i was to say the least fkn stoaked so reloaded and let rip smack another hit last n final shot was near miss but still i was grinning from ear to ear when all the guyz congratulated me after my shoooting
i was the 1st to hit the 700m for the day in near impossible conditions .
one the guyz asked if id been practicing my long range shooting .nope i said never shot past 300m b4
all in all i had a fkn awesome day YEEEEEHAAAAAAA

    Congratulations.

I need to work on accuracy with something that will get out past 200m. But hey, I haven't been shooting long.

Well done GJ. I have become fascinated by long range and can see myself investing in the sport fairly soon. Are you listening Santa?
