    Another new member to the forum and hunting

    Hello everyone,

    I have had some experience with rabbit shooting, after locking the guns up for couple of years due to family commitments I am now all cleared to proceed with my hobby. I have my A-Cat license and own couple of rifles for small and large game hunting. I live in Auckland and probably going to start with nearby public hunting reserves, so if there is any events going on please feel free to buzz me and I would love to join.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Welcome Alex, be warned being a jafa will lead to accusations of being a latte drinking metrosexual, shooting a 6.5 Creedmore or the previous fashion trend, 7mm-08 Tikka T3s.

    Hi Alex, Have fun here, dont be offended by anyone, contribute and learn there seem to be quite a lot of jaffas on here but not as many as the numerical advantage held by auckland would suggest.

    Haha yeah I almost bought a 7mm-08 rifle as it was the only calibre avaliable for the rifle I wanted, I had to google the specs of that bullet...but its not a tikka for sure. I am a bit of a cheap skate unlike the other Jaffas here lol

    Howzit Alex, I'm in the Auckland area too but am starting out with hunting at the bottom of the totem with small game and an air rifle.
    What part of Auckland are you in?
