    Checking In

29 year old hunter from Chch. Been shooting for many years now but don't get out enough. Ive been lucky enough to compete in New Zealand and overseas however I wouldn't consider myself as good and Im always looking to get better.
New to hunting and would like to get into more of it. Like to shoot wallaby and Tahr but need to get out for some deer.
I'm here for good tips for both hunting and shooting as well as the odd bargain that may show up as I need to upgrade my gear.
Currently have a Sako A7 in 308 but looking for a good scope.

    Welcome along.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
