RE SLR: I know what you mean regarding SLR and Ex-Army it holds a place in ones heart once fired. I do remember drooling over a couple of Lithgow built ones in the Gun room at Serious Shooters up here plus one in high gloss wood looks like a parade ground version that's come out of somewhere in Asia. In the 90's they were selling them ex-army converted for a couple of hundy now there a lot more north of that and e-cat too.

Good luck - would love to see a pic of what you end up with. Right now my project is 300 BLK.
