    Freshie from North Canterbury

    Hey guys and guyesses
Been stalking the forum for a week or so now, decided it's time for a formal introduction. My name is Danny I'm based in Oxford North Canterbury. I've been bitten hard by the game meat bug, however not due to a lack of trying I am lacking in the skills of finding such animals.
Hoping to make some contacts on here to help me further my skills so I can fill the freezer and show my wife and kids the investment in firearms is a worthy cause.
I seem to come across a lot of spot X hunters, which sux as I didn't grow up hunting and need to learn from someone ?
I'm new to hunting and I'm slowly building up my toy closet.
    I currently own:
    Bergara scout 223
    Bergara scout 308
    And a norinco jw15 .22

Where are you currently hunting? The local nzda will do party hunts. Normally they pair you up for the first time with someone who knows what they're doing.

Are you finding deer prints and poo? Is it bush or tussock?

Wind in your face following the sign and take 10 steps and wait 1 minute if bush stalking will be a good start

Hey Russian, I'm doing a bit of everything to be fair.
All on doc land, sometimes finding poos sometimes not.
But more good luck than any real skill.
    What is NZDA ?

Hey Danny welcome along mate, I'm moving up to near Darfield/Windwhistle in a couple of weeks so we will have to touch base and get out for a hunt and explore the new digs once I'm settled in if you're keen

North Cant have very good branch, with plenty of hunter training on offer.

I wouldn't have a clue what the word "weekend" means anyhow
